The air you breathe at the Laurel Diner just got 99.98% safer!

The air you breathe has just become a lot safer at the Laurel - 99.98% safer to be exact. We have invested in a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system with air scrubbing technology by Aerus® so that the air in the diner is not the same contaminated air recycled over and over again.

All of the air in our space now gets forced through an air treatment system that utilizes state-of-the-art technology developed by NASA to kill 99.98% of the viruses and bacteria in the air and on surfaces - including COVID-19. 

This proprietary technology is called ActivePure® by Aerus, and it is the only air cleaning technology awarded the prestigious Certified Space Technology seal of approval by the Space Foundation which was created in cooperation with NASA.

ActivePure® utilizes a proprietary photocatalyst system which creates powerful oxidizing molecules which are safe to humans and pets but is deadly to viruses and bacteria in the air and on surfaces.
